PayPal Europe’s latest study on eCommerce revealed a startling disconnect between what online shoppers want and what businesses think they do. We partnered with research firm Fifth Quadrant to transform raw data into an insightful report that resonates across Europe, bringing consumer and business trends to life.
With much of the research proving the reality of eCommerce to be contrary to popular belief, we positioned the campaign around a single, overarching theme: myth-busting. In the PayPal E-commerce Index 2024, we challenged eight persistent misconceptions about how European consumers browse, buy and pay online, and offered tips for businesses to overcome obstacles relevant to their market. And we didn’t stop there.
We expanded PayPal’s reach even further with a whole content ecosystem of landing pages, infographics, sales social media posts, ads, emails and articles – all localised with messaging, cultural nuances and data specific to the UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy.
