I’ve been working with Engage on and off for many years. I say “on and off” because budgets in the tech space can be unpredictable. I was part of the team that brought Engage on board at PayPal. To say I was eager to work with Jen and her team would be an understatement. Engage quickly became one of our most trusted partners at PayPal.
From a day-to-day perspective, Engage were very easy to work with. They had processes in place and proper WIP docs, so everything was always transparent. I never had to follow up or chase anyone down. The team was always very responsive and, honestly, felt like an extension of our team.
I’ve worked with many agencies over the years and Engage has been by far the easiest to work with. From a strategy perspective, they always nailed it. They have a great understanding of what will work, and that was evident with the output, with content quality always on point. One project focused on landing page optimisations delivered a 15% lift in website conversion.
One of the times we brought Engage into the mix was actually to fix a deficiency with another agency we’d been using for ABM. Content was consistently missing the brief and deadlines weren’t being met but Engage came in and turned it all around. Our PayPal Europe colleagues were so impressed by what we were doing and the results we were getting that they contracted Engage as well. The work Engage supported helped us deliver 60+ enterprise sales opportunities in a 6-month period.

The team at Engage have been great to work with. I’ve known Jen Robson for some time as in previous lives we worked together at PayPal. And then when she set up her own shop I engaged (haha no pun intended!) her for work at PayPal and in my current role at Glider.
Jen and all the team I’ve met are great to work with. From a ‘craft’ perspective, I’ve found them to be highly knowledgeable and great at what they do. They are good at keeping up to date with all the various trends and changes happening in the content and SEO world. From an account management perspective, I’ve found the team to be smart, reliable, quick and just really nice people to work with. They were good at having structured WIP documents and processes to make sure things didn’t get forgotten or delayed. And the quality of their work was always excellent, and they were very good at taking feedback and collaborating to get the best outcomes.
I had the team first working with me on building out my content strategy and then content creation, and we were in the early stages of some of the more technical SEO elements when my budget got cut (life in a start up!) and so we had to pause work. But I’m seeing continued positive impact (i.e. growth in organic traffic) in the content they created for me and the SEO recommendations that we got to do. And when my budget allows, I intend to bring them back on to continue the work we started.
Overall, I have found Engage to be a great agency partner both from an expertise and a communication and approach perspective.
